I have been quite terrible lately with my blog posts - sorry! Now that the busy season has come to an end, I have time to post all of this past summer's gorgeous weddings and events. This particular wedding took place on June 26th at the Resort at Squaw Creek and Squaw Valley Chapel. Snow covered the mountain tops and the sun finally came out to shine - it was the very first non-snowy weekend of the summer!
Sam and Tim had a lovely destination wedding. Guests arrived a few days prior to enjoy golfing, swimming, and the world cup! Sandy's Pub, the resort's sports bar, turned out to be the stomping ground for this party - guests were glued to their bar stools watching the game. On the wedding day, the game went into overtime...which happened to be photo time! I pinned the groomsmen's boutonniere's as they watched on in anticipation. Fortunately, the game ended right before the ceremony.
Annie X did a fabulous job of capturing the emotion, story, and personality of this wedding and Christina from A Bud and Beyond created gorgeous arrangements that matched the natural theme perfectly! After a lovely dinner, emotional speeches, and a taste of the cake, the party started! Sam and Tim really wanted to have a great party, so they hired The Cheeseballs, a fantastic high energy band. Every guest - young and old - was on the dance floor till the very last song. After boogying the night away, guests continued onto Sandy's Pub for a few more drinks, while the bride, groom, and a couple others chowed down on a hot cheesy pizza!
