We’ll hone in on minutiae, manage logistics, and do the heavy lifting on your behalf—so you can remain relaxed and ready to celebrate on your wedding day.

Hi Friend! I’m Marci, the owner and creative director at One Fine Day Events. With a sincere love for everything Tahoe, a passion for celebrating stories, and serving folks well, you can find me immersed in every element here at One Fine Day Events.
Raised in a home whose door was always open, I began planning and curating events at a young age. I soon found myself in the events industry mid-college and have since planned 100s of celebrations (like over 450+! ) from weddings, group retreats, wedding anniversaries, birthday parties, corporate events, to end of life celebrations. My passion for this industry and serving my clients well has led to experience in the many industry roles of photographers assistant, catering team, wedding singer, florist, venue coordinator and my favorite being that of owner, planner, and designer.
With over 15 years of experience in the wedding industry, executing 450+ successful weddings and celebrations, my passion continues to grow, as does my love of sharing this wealth of experience with my wonderful clients.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband of 6+ years, our two toddlers, Audra and August, on our little homestead. You can find me honing my interior design skills renovating our 70’s ranch style home, making a fresh loaf of sourdough, and working in our garden.
Marci also proudly owns two sister companies, Tahoe Unveiled, a company dedicated to help couples find reputable vendors and real wedding inspiration in Lake Tahoe. Our other sister company, Marcella Camille Events, serves busy couples who need help with partial planning and design.
Vanessa

As a principal planner Vanessa has planned and executed numerous high-profile events with magnificent success and is adored by our clients and the many vendors we work alongside. She has the ability to organize and streamline even the most disorganized brides and grooms with ease and grace. As a lover of old-world romance and glamour, weddings are the perfect match for her kind personality and driven attitude.
Vanessa started at One Fine Day Events with years of restaurant management and event experience and her keen eye for design was quickly revealed. As a designer, Vanessa works very closely with our clients to help determine their style before the design process even begins. Always an innovator, Vanessa is responsible for coming up with unexpected decor accents that our clients didn’t realize they loved. Vanessa is the type of planner that does not rest until she knows she has nailed every single aspect of the couple’s vision to a tee. Her favorite part is when everything comes alive on the event day and seeing the happiness spread across the faces of the families.
