Our favorite this week from Tahoe Unveiled

Who knew there was so much to learn about ties and tuxes! This week on our sister site, Tahoe Unveiled, we were educated on all the different stylings of Tuxes and Suits. From American to Italian, take a peek & click on the image below for all you might ever want to know!

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Garden Roses

There are so many types of roses out there it's easy to get confused! I wanted to highlight the garden rose today because it's a much softer and fuller rose than the traditional "import rose" you see in grocery stores. It is also a great substitute for those brides looking to have a beautiful peony bouquet but are not getting married in Spring or early Summer, which is the peony's growing season. The many layers of the garden rose open up to create a gorgeous and soft flower!

Our Favorite this week from Tahoe Unveiled

This week on our sister site, Tahoe Unveiled, we had the pleasure of receiving some much needed great advice! After the big day has (literally) flown by, it's always a good idea to look at what is remembered and what can stand to be forgotten (small, annoying set-backs, un-needed advice and stress, and hardcore dieting!). See below for some great advice from a married woman to a bride-to-be.

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Muted Plums

Plums & Posies....Oh My! I love a muted color palette; it's soft, luxurious and doesn't overpower the bride's stunning white dress. A soft muted plum shade is also the perfect compliment to almost any skin tone - bonus!

Tahoe Unveiled's Weekly Juice!

We have been busy little bees for our wedding this weekend(!) but still managed to find tons of inspiration on our sister site in the form of wedding doors, vintage hairstyles for the bride, a stunning Nude and Beige color palette, and the best way to shop for engagement rings!

Behind the Scenes with One Fine Day | Wedding & Design Inspiration

One Fine Day is a one stop shop to any and everything you might need to make the wedding in your mind come to life. With that being said, it takes lots of inspirational research to make sure each bride + groom gets the wedding for their dream-books. To help with this, our design team spends hours researching decor ideas and perfecting each and every detail to make sure all events are customized to the tee and reflect each couple's vision. I've collected a few of our favorite inspirational themes for our upcoming weddings this summer and wanted to share how this whole process starts!

Bright Pops of Color with a twist of Woodland Chic

Whimsical and Flirty affair with hints of Romance

Soft Romance with a touch of Royal Elegance

These are just a few "kick-off" examples of details + decor to help steer each lovely couple to their dream wedding! You tell us what you like, love, hate, can't live without and we make sure it's delivered with style. There are many aspects that go into planning a beautiful and exquisite event, and I think the design process may be the most fun part!

Behind the Scenes | Design Research

Here at One Fine Day Events we are constantly trying to stay on top of the latest trends and styles, and with that requires really fun "research" projects! We scour bridal events, paper shops, design stores and clothing boutiques to research and perfect each client's dream vision for their wedding. A few weekends ago we had the pleasure of attending the Soolip Bridal Event in San Francisco. Afterwards, we took full advantage of being in the city and visited lots of shops, boutiques, and stores to make sure we have every option available at our fingertips to create the perfect design + details for each client's wedding. We gathered inspiration from fabrics, stationary and paper goods, food stores, flower shops, and even bed linens! Here are a few pics of us hard at work!

We were just a tad bit overwhelmed with Paper Source's reams of patterned paper...but we managed to select a few beauties for our upcoming photo shoots and weddings!! Looking forward to see what we put together!
